Warema W1: Production period: 1986 to early 1993—with a folded, square box, 8.5 mm wide pull cord

Warema W2: Production period: January 1993 through 2000—end cap with a large slotted screw, fabric guide tube inside the casing, casing halves separated at the bottom, pull cord 10 mm wide with a sewn-in steel pin

Warema W4: Manufactured from January 2000 through late 2004. Warema W5: Manufactured starting in January 2000. The
W4 and W5 models have end caps with rounded bottoms and Phillips-head screws; the upper part of the casing is round; the casing halves are separated at the rear; pull cord is 10 mm wide.

Warema W6: Manufactured from 2002 onward—lower cover rounded, drive mechanism: toothed belt, max. size 400 x 450 cm

Warema W8: Manufactured from 2006 onward—upper cover rounded, drive mechanism: toothed belt, max. size 600 x 600 cm
