Straps & Cords for Conservatory Awnings

High-quality counterweight straps and cords for the repair and maintenance of conservatory awnings.

Conservatory awnings are typically extended and retracted safely using a counterweight system with special cords or straps. These components are constantly exposed to high stresses—intense sunlight, moisture, temperature fluctuations, and constant tensile stress place high demands on the material.

For this reason, the cords and straps used must be UV- and weather-resistant, tear-resistant, and have minimal stretch. This is the only way to ensure smooth operation of the awning and long-term reliability.

Conventional nylon cords or roller shutter straps are not suitable for this application. They often exhibit excessive stretch and are not designed to withstand the continuous stresses of a sunroom awning. This can lead to malfunctions, uneven fabric tension, or increased wear on the entire system.

In our product range, you’ll find

Specially developed counterweight cords for conservatory awnings
High-quality counterweight straps in various widths and designs
UV-, weather-, and age-resistant materials
Exceptionally tear-resistant and low-stretch quality

Our cords and straps are suitable as replacements for many common conservatory awnings from various manufacturers and help ensure the long-term functionality of your system. With the right replacement part, you can extend the service life of your awning and often avoid a costly replacement.

Tip: When selecting a replacement, pay attention to the diameter of the cord or the width and thickness of the strap. For an accurate measurement, we recommend using a caliper. If you’re unable to clearly identify the correct replacement part, simply send us a sample of your existing strap or cord—we’ll be happy to assist you in selecting the right replacement part.
