Round-woven cord
Cords with a round cross-section are used both indoors and outdoors. When selecting a cord for your application, ensure it is suitable in terms of weather resistance and elongation—for example, in counterweight systems. In most systems, Dyneema cords are used for this purpose. However, these are not suitable for indoor use, as they are too stiff for Roman shades and venetian blinds to ensure smooth operation of these lightweight systems.

Please always measure the diameter of a cord using a vernier caliper (also known as a sliding caliper). Measuring with a ruler or folding rule is too imprecise for these products. If you do not have a suitable measuring tool available, please send us a sample of your existing item, and we will find the appropriate replacement for you. Please note that ribbons and cords always have a manufacturing tolerance of +/- 10% and must not be compressed when measuring.
