Elevator and TEXband
High-Strength Lift Straps & TEX Straps for External Blinds and Venetian Blinds
A torn TEX strap or a worn-out lift strap renders the entire exterior venetian blind inoperable. Since these textile straps are exposed daily to extreme mechanical stress as well as intense UV radiation and the elements, quality is of the utmost importance here. At jalousie-ersatzteile.de, you’ll find durable, professional-grade replacement parts—so you can repair your sun protection yourself easily, sustainably, and affordably!
An overview of our flat-woven tapes:
- Features: Our lift and TEX straps are extremely tear-resistant and perfectly tailored to the winding mechanism of exterior blinds and external venetian blinds.
- Custom-cut by the meter: We cut the tape individually to your desired length, accurate to the centimeter.
- Pre-assembled products: Pre-cut and, depending on the intended use, already fitted with sewn-on loops or special features such as piping, elastic, or hooks.
📐 Important Notes for Accurate Measurement
Since the tapes must fit precisely into the pivot bearings and winding drums, even fractions of a millimeter matter. Please note:
- Measuring with a caliper: Use only a caliper to determine width and thickness. A ruler or folding rule is not accurate enough for these delicate textile components.
- Do not apply pressure when measuring: The material must not be compressed during the measuring process, so as not to distort the measurement result. Please note the material-related manufacturing tolerance of ±10%.
