Cords and Ribbons

High-Strength Cords and Tapes for Sun Protection Systems and Roller Shutters

A worn-out textile strap or a torn pull cord is no reason to replace an entire sun protection system at great expense. Our “Cords and Straps” category offers professional installers and end customers a comprehensive range of high-strength functional textiles for the professional and sustainable repair of venetian blinds, external blinds, conservatory awnings, and roller shades.

A structured overview of our technical textile product line:

• Round-woven cords: Technically optimized cords with a round cross-section for maximum dimensional stability. Ideal as control cords or pull cords. Various designs for indoor and outdoor use. Available as precisely cut by-the-meter lengths or as seamless, continuous pull cords for gear-driven systems.
• Flat-woven tapes: Extremely tear-resistant lifting tapes for venetian blinds, as well as heavy-duty counterweight tapes for conservatory awnings. Available as flexible roll goods or pre-assembled products with sewn-on loops, piping, elastic bands, or hooks.
• Ladder cords & ladder tapes: Specialized connecting elements for the precise rotation, guidance, and mechanical support of venetian blind slats.
• Clip Straps: Special flat straps with injection-molded plastic fasteners for external venetian blinds from various manufacturers
• System Accessories & Tools: Complementary system components such as robust cord buckles, ball-joint clips in the lock, and high-strength machine sewing thread (DABOND®).

Quality features for heavy-duty, continuous use:

• Maximum tear strength and minimal elongation under load
• High abrasion resistance on pulleys, shafts, and gearbox outlets
• Excellent UV and weather resistance against premature embrittlement
